CREDIT ANALYST POSITION SPECIFICATION

The Credit Analyst role will be based in Miami. Insurance benefits are available the first of the month following sixty days with the Company. 1st Merchant Funding is a growing, technology enabled, fast paced, collaborative and team-oriented financial services firm. We are actively seeking qualified candidates for this role and growth opportunity.
As key members of the Company’s Underwriting Team, Credit Analysts are responsible for coordinating the gathering, collecting, verifying and organizing all items as may be required by the Company in connection with its data submission, underwriting review and funding processes. Additional responsibilities include organization and computer skills to upload this information in the Company’s systems and tracking this information through the Company’s workflows as well as detailed tracking of all items collected. Computer/internet research, including through search engines and social media sites is also involved. Direct communication (phone, email, fax) with the Company’s prospects, merchants, agents and partners will also be part of the responsibilities of this role together with email and/or letter correspondence and update notes into the Company’s systems.
Information accessed and gathered may include confidential and sensitive information of the Company and its merchants. Safeguarding all of this confidential information is an essential part of this role. In addition, strict adherence to compliance of all applicable laws and regulations relative to the performance of the duties hereunder is essential. This role and the corresponding duties may expand to other items as may be requested by the Company.
